Thái Hàx
Thái Hà is a curator, writer and translator based in HCMC. Exploring speculative world-building and post-apocalypse aesthetics, her work imagines what emerges from colonial and capitalist ruins. Her curatorial projects, writings and translations have been presented in various museums, cultural institutions, and biennials, such as the Tate St Ives, Barbican Centre, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, 58th Carnegie International, 2021 Asian Art Biennial, Sàn Art, and Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL), among others. Her work has been covered by Frieze, Artforum, Cultbytes, and Al Jazeera.
Hà is co-curator of the Uzbekistan National Pavilion at the 61st Venice Biennale, an exhibition entering the Aral Sea as future grounds for myth-making and climate resilience. With a curatorial residency at Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) upcoming in autumn 2026, she has also recently participated in the inaugural Bukhara Biennial Curatorial School, a residency at Cittadellarte–Fondazione Pistoletto, and the 12th Berlin Biennale Curator’s Workshop. Hà has held curatorial roles at Nguyễn Art Foundation and Galerie Quynh, and received an MA in Asian and African art theory from SOAS, University of London.
